COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Working Alongside Community

The APTMetrics corporate community support program has been dedicated to cultivating a strong sense of shared responsibility and positive impact.

We believe that a thriving business is deeply connected to a flourishing community. Our initiatives go beyond simple charity, aiming to build lasting partnerships and provide meaningful resources that address the unique needs of our neighbors.

Through targeted investments, employee volunteerism, and collaborative projects, we’re not just giving back—we’re actively working alongside community members to foster growth, promote well-being, and create a more resilient and equitable future for everyone.

Treasure Coast Food Bank

Tackling Hunger Since 1988.

The Treasure Coast Food Bank (TCFB) is the largest hunger relief organization on Florida’s Treasure Coast and provides nutritious food to individuals and families throughout the region.

With over 100 employees and a fleet of more than 10,000 volunteers, TCFB distributes millions of meals annually, as well as providing direct services and outreach programs to help support children, seniors, and families in need and to promote self sufficiency. Their philosophy is focused on not only providing for those in need, but also eliminating hunger by addressing the root causes and posing solutions to those facing poverty.

Since 2024, APTMetrics has partnered with TCFB to support the development of a unified organization, culture, and team in response to recent growth and in preparation for the move to a new facility in 2025. This effort will focus on updating and preparing 71 job descriptions.

This initiative allows TCFB to:
  • Leverage a set of accurate job descriptions with associated job requirements
  • Have clear job expectations that can be provided to employees
  • Use criteria to source and retain top talent to support its mission

Connecticut Foodshare

Helping to End Hunger

Connecticut Foodshare (CTFS) is the leading hunger relief organization in the state of Connecticut and a member of the Feeding America network dedicated to delivering an informed and equitable response to hunger.

They distribute nearly 47 million meals through 700 community-based hunger relief programs, with more than 8,000 volunteers giving more than 62,000 hours.

In 2023, APTMetrics partnered with CTFS to equip them with the tools to find and retain top talent so they can continue to best serve the community across Connecticut.

These efforts helped Connecticut Foodshare develop:
  • A summary of what it means to commit to CTFS’s mission that will be included in all CTFS job descriptions
  • A job description template CTFS can follow in the future to develop job descriptions for new roles
  • A standardized interview protocol for gathering information from CTFS leaders on what it takes to be successful in different roles
  • A standardized list of physical requirements that may be expected for different CTFS roles
  • An accurate level of responsibility descriptions based on the CTFS Job Grade Map to create standardized language about scope and entry

COT

Employee-Driven Initiatives

Established in 2018, our Community Outreach Team (COT) strives to positively impact lives beyond the workplace by harnessing the collective efforts of our employees.

Employees are encouraged to share their ongoing or monthly donations and/or volunteer activities for organizations of their choice.

These contributions have ranged from monetary donations to charitable organizations and participation in fundraising 5Ks, to contributing to food drives and taking part in local park cleanups, and more.

We hold a quarterly drawing for participants, and the winner receives a donation to a charity of their choice in their name on behalf of APTMetrics.
